A: A pest is an organism which has characteristics that are regarded by humans as injurious or unwanted. An animal can also be a pest when it causes damage to a wild ecosystem or carries germs within human habitats.
Q: What type of pests do you treat?
A: We treat rodents such as rats, mice and squirrels; Flying insects such as wasps, mosquito’s and moths, and crawling insects such as Bed Bugs, Ants, Fleas and Cockroaches
Q: I hear noises in the attic and I think I have mice but it may be a rat-what do you do? How many visits will you make? What does it cost? How soon do you respond? Will all the neighbours know a pest control company has called?

A: If you can find the entry/exit point (you will usually see plenty of wasps congregating around one spot) we can treat that particular area and this will take care of the nest-it usually involves just one visit but we will come back if it doesn’t work the first time-this may be because of rain washing away the insecticide or very large nest.
Q: There are lots of tiny little crawling insects in the kitchen presses-what are they and how do we get rid of them?
A: We will need to ID these insects and when we know what we are dealing with we will then treat the problem. Depending on what we find one or more treatments will be required.
Q: We only see these insects at night, they go when the light is turned on-I’ve looked it up on the internet and I think they are silverfish-what causes them and what do you do to control them?
A: Silver fish and also woodlice are usually associated with dampness. We can treat the problem and kill what is there but if the underlying problem is not rectified the original problem will return.
Q: Is there a charge for the service and will I need it more than once?
A: Yes we are very competitively priced at €85 for the call out on your first pest problem – the good news is you shouldn’t need us more than once!

- The technician will ring you the same day as you call and will make an appointment for a time that suits best-either same day or following day.
- Firstly a survey will be carried out to determine exactly what we will be dealing with and the extent of the problem-if there are any areas that need attention e.g. gaps at outlet pipes, we will give advice on how best to take care of the issue.
- An assessment of the best type of treatment will be made (baits, traps, etc) and then our trained personnel will put this in place.
- Usually only one visit is necessary but depending on the extent of the problem a follow-up may be required - the technician will advise before any work is carried out.
- Our standard fee is €85 and this includes VAT
- We always use unmarked vans.
